The TMAA-Shotokan Karate-Do Association India was formed under guidance of HANSHI TIGER NASIM KHAN who is the Chief Instructor of TMAA-SKA-INDIA, ISKE-INDIA Branch & General Manager of World Budo Union Federation (TURKEY) INDIA BRANCH. Under the President ship of Janab Md. Badruddin Khan Sb. Our President Md. Badruddin Khan sb. was a deep social worker, very helpful for everyone; He was commissioner of ward no- 28/36 and Vice President of Nagar Youth congress committee (I) of Katihar District. He was born in 1942 and passed away on 28th April 2008.
HANSHI TIGER NASIM KHAN is having experience of more than Three decades in different facets of Karate and Martial Arts. He started his training of Shotokan Karate in early 1979-1980 under Sensei Thamb Bahadur Rai (NEPAL),HANSHI Tiger Nasim Khan first introduced Karate in various Districts of Bihar & in North East Bihar also. TMAA-SKAI is the fastest growing Karate Association in India with more than 10,000 students practicing regularly.
We are nonprofit organization. The main objective of TMAA-SHOTOKAN KARATE DO ASSOCIATION INDIA (TMAA-SKAI) is to create a consolidated movement for popularizing the true form of Shotokan Karate in India, where many instructors are teaching one or other form of karate and most of them in a diluted version. TMAA-SKAI is creating an awareness among these karate practitioners, so that, they can come in the main stream of authentic Shotokan karate. TMAA-SKAI also aims to raise the karate standard of Indian Karatekas to the International level so that in future they can bring laurels for the country. The steps towards achieving these goals are:
As a first step towards achieving the objectives, the organization invites reputed National/International Instructors time to time for advance training camp for the members of the federation so that they get authentic International Karate exposure. Members of TMAA-SKAI regularly take part in International Karate Championship / Seminars in different countries.
TMAA-SKAI has got training centers in various states of India and is a recognized organization by Karate Association of India (KAI) , which is the only karate organization, recognized by GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS
